The story of Domaine Combier is a story of wine, life, family, nature, and places. It all began in 1936, when Camille, Laurent's grandfather, came down from Ardèche and acquired a property of 3 hectares of vines and 4 hectares of apricot trees in La Roche de Glun. In 1960, Laurent's parents, Palette & Maurice, settled as farmers in the neighboring town. They spent 10 years establishing organic and healthy arboriculture and viticulture.
In 1990, Laurent Combien and his wife Ghislaine took over the 5 hectares of vineyard and the 15 hectares of fruit trees. A graduate in viticulture-oenology, he fulfilled his dream of creating his own wine production and aging cellar. His goal was to pursue his own vision of Crozes Hermitage wines. He reached the peak with Clos des Grives, a now-iconic wine.
Discover the red and white wines of Domaine Laurent Combier. The "Cuvée L," the classic Domaine Combier, the Cuvée Cap Nord, the Clos des Grives, and the Saint-Joseph are highly acclaimed today. To emphasize the idea of sharing, Domaine Combier offers Crozes-Hermitage red cuvées in Magnum and Jeroboam sizes.
