Domaine Jerôme Castagnier

Fifth generation at the Estate, Jérôme Castagnier did not originally intend to take over the family Estate, as he first pursued a career as a professional trumpeter, even joining the prestigious Republican Guard.
Then in 2005, the call of the vineyard was the strongest, and Jérôme took up the torch with passion and dynamism.
It must be said that the vineyard heritage is exceptional, with only four hectares but including four remarkable grand crus (Charmes Chambertin, Clos Saint Denis, Clos Vougeot, Clos de la Roche).
But Jérôme doesn't stop at the prestige of these terroirs; on the contrary, he puts in the effort to enhance them through his wines: a completely renovated winery, extended aging, renewal of the barrel stock, organic viticulture... a refined approach dedicated to the wines, which now display an elegant, fine, and delicate profile, with a magnificent purity of fruit.
