The Domaine Jacqueson is universally recognized as the flagship of Rully, such is its prestige and reputation among connoisseurs that has shone on Rully and its winemakers. In fact, the history of the estate is inseparable from Rully.
The three generations (Henri, then Paul, and his children Marie and Pierre) have always contributed to the legacy, with patriarch Henri being one of the first to bottle and carefully age the wines in oak casks. His son Paul focused on elevating Chardonnay to noble status on the clay-limestone terroirs of Rully. Today, his children are taking up the torch with the same commitment to quality. The winery has been renovated to allow for long aging (especially for the premier crus) and gentle racking by gravity.
