Tequila Volcan De Mi Tierra

Volcan de Mi Tierra embodies a new vision of premium tequila, born from the partnership between the LVMH group and the Mexican Gallardo family, with several generations of expertise. Founded in 2017 in the heart of the state of Jalisco, the distillery takes its name from the legendary Volcan de Tequila, whose eruption thousands of years ago shaped volcanic soils of exceptional richness, ideal for cultivating blue agave.

At Volcan de Mi Tierra, everything starts in the agave fields, patiently cultivated for 7 to 8 years to reach optimal maturity. The distillery selects agaves from both the highlands (Altos) and the lowlands (Valles), creating a unique balance of aromatic freshness, richness, and depth. This duality of terroirs gives rise to complex tequilas, expressing vegetal, fruity, and spicy notes, the signature of the house.

The expertise lies in a delicate balance between tradition and innovation: slow cooking of the agave hearts in stone ovens, natural fermentation, precise distillation, complemented by modern techniques.
