Guigal, before becoming a big name in the wines of the Rhône Valley, is first and foremost the story of a man, Marcel Guigal, son of Etienne, the founder whom he succeeded in 1961. In 1995, he bought the Château d'Ampuis to exploit all the family-owned vineyards. This is where the legend and the mythical cuvées LALALA (Landonne, La Turque, La Mouline) are born... The Guigal style is timeless wines that defy the years and evolve gracefully, with silky tannins and great natural concentration. Here, the syrah grape reigns supreme in the prestigious appellation of Côte Rôtie.
