Undoubtedly one of the flagship producers in Givry (alongside Francois Lumpp and Cellier aux Moines), the Joblot estate has always remained deeply connected to its family roots. The patriarch Charles was a strong advocate for the creation of the Givry AOC. His son Jean-Marc definitively elevated the estate to the ranks of the top producers in the Côte Chalonnaise. Recognizing the incredible potential of the estate's vineyards, especially those planted on Givry's highest quality terroirs (1er crus Servoisine, Cellier aux Moines...), Jean-Marc focused on manual soil and vine management, avoiding the excessive use of synthetic products from the 1980s. His efforts paid off as he succeeded in maintaining the old vines of the estate in remarkable vitality. His daughter Juliette inherited his work and strives to uphold the very high quality of the wines. These wines are highly age-worthy and reveal captivating aromas of peonies, red fruits, with a rare richness and volume.
