Dominique Derain, through hard work and conviction in his ideas, has rightfully earned the reputation of a trailblazer who has influenced many young winemakers. Skilled in winemaking and a fine connoisseur of terroirs, he knows how to interpret like no one else the terroir-grapevine relationship and the contribution of biodynamics to sustain the connection between the plant and its environment. With him, there's no artifice or makeup, his wines are true to his image, sincere and authentic. Carole and Julien Altaber have taken over the reins since 2016 (faithful right hand of Dominique Derain since 2002), brilliantly preserving the "Derain touch". Fresh, flavorful, and easy-to-drink wines. All with little to no added sulfur. Julien has also put a lot of thought into the aging process, extending it to further enhance the balance and complexity of the wines.
