Domaine Les Héritiers du Comte Lafon

This domaine was born from the visionary approach of Dominique Lafon (renowned winemaker of the familial domain of the Comtes Lafon in Meursault), who, well before others, saw the great potential of the terroirs of the Maconnais. Thus, as early as 1999, the Lafon family acquired vineyards in Milly-Lamartine to establish the domaine des Héritiers du Comte Lafon. Today, with 25 hectares of ideally located vineyards, the family continues to invest in keeping the domaine at the forefront of the Maconnais, all of which is cultivated biodynamically. The wines are vinified in large oak containers and then aged in tanks for a few months on fine lees. The wines are at the peak of Maconnais and never disappoint in quality!
