Domaine Lumpp François

Domaine Lumpp needs no introduction, as its wines have built the reputation of Givry and its crus. In the late 1970s, François and his brother took over the family-owned Lumpp estate firmly established in the Côte Chalonnaise. François Lumpp quickly embarked on a replanting project using high-quality massal selection, expanding the estate on the best premier crus of Givry.

Since then, joined by his children (Anne-Cécile and Pierre), François Lumpp has earned a very high-end reputation, bringing prestige to Givry, especially with the red wines. Following in the footsteps of its prestigious neighbors in the Côte de Beaune and Nuits, François meticulously ages his wines in oak barrels, rigorously selecting the grapes.

The wines are deep, concentrated, and perfectly balanced, showcasing black fruits, gentle spices, and a remarkable mineral note. Always outstanding!
