The Cuvée Clos des Goisses 2014 from Philipponnat is a masterful expression of the expertise and exceptional terroir of Champagne. Made from a blend of 71% Pinot Noir and 29% Chardonnay, this exceptional champagne comes from the oldest and steepest enclosed vineyard in Champagne, benefiting from an ideal south-facing exposure on the hillside of Mareuil-sur-Ay. Its careful vinification, with part of it aged in oak barrels and no malolactic fermentation, reveals the power and complexity of a unique terroir.
