The Jean-Claude Bachelet Estate is a family-owned and historic estate in Saint-Aubin, highly regarded by all. And for good reason, this estate produces the most vibrant and sparkling white wines in the southern Côte de Beaune. The heart of the estate is in Saint-Aubin, but it also includes beautiful plots in Chassagne-Montrachet and Puligny-Montrachet, in addition to a magnificent micro-plot in the grand cru of Bienvenues Batard Montrachet.
The patriarch of the estate and a legendary winemaker in Saint-Aubin, Jean-Claude Bachelet, passed away in 2019. His sons Jean-Baptiste and Benoit have taken over the estate with great skill, placing it among the most renowned in the Côte de Beaune. The estate now covers 10ha, all cultivated using biodynamic methods to the benefit of a magnificent vineyard with very old vines, some planted in 1927. The wines are aged for a long period, on average 18 months. A gem of the Burgundy wine region!
