Jéroboam Champagne Blanc de noir Extra-brut, Philipponnat
The Philipponnat Blanc de Noir 2018 is a Champagne made from a blend of Grands Crus and Premiers Crus from a single harvest and a single year, all from the Pinot Noir grape variety. The grapes come from the first press and part of the winemaking was done in oak barrels.
Its color is a golden shade leaning towards bronze. On the nose, there is a harmony between spicy notes and delicate scents of white flowers, with a dominance of acacia flower. On the palate, this Champagne fully expresses the typicality and fruity aromas of Pinot Noir, particularly with flavors of wild strawberries. The finish is ample, marked by peppery and spicy notes.
This Champagne has excellent aging potential and can be stored for at least 5 to 7 years in a cool cellar, protected from light and stored horizontally.
To fully appreciate all the flavors, it is recommended to serve it at a temperature of about 10 to 12 degrees Celsius. It pairs perfectly as an aperitif with canapés, as an appetizer with grilled fish on the plancha or cooked with a champagne sauce in the oven. It also goes wonderfully well with poultry and game birds.
Volume: 3 liters
