Magnum Champagne Krug Grande Cuvée 169th Edition – Timeless Harmony in Large Format
Created around the 2013 harvest, the Krug Grande Cuvée 169th Edition brilliantly embodies Joseph Krug's philosophy: to offer each year the most generous expression of champagne, regardless of the climatic conditions. In its magnum format, this cuvée reveals all the richness, amplitude, and elegance that have made Krug an essential reference among the great Houses.
This edition is the result of a blend of 146 wines from 11 different years, the oldest dating back to 2000, and the youngest to 2013. The reserve wines, meticulously selected from the Krug library, represent 40% of the final blend, providing structure, depth, and complexity.
The year 2013 was marked by a long winter, a late spring, and a dry summer, offering grapes with beautiful aromatic maturity and great freshness. The precision of the blend allowed Krug to deliver a refined structure and remarkable elegance.
The magnum offers optimal aging conditions, slower and more harmonious, allowing the wine to develop an even more intense aromatic depth. An ideal choice for special occasions, collectors, or exceptional tastings.
Capacity: 1.5 liters
