This Jéroboam of Pic Saint Loup Grand Cuvée from Domaine de l'Hortus is the iconic wine of the Hortus estate, coming from the highest quality plots, with soil and exposure that maintain good water reserves and grapes at optimal maturity (mourvèdre, grenache, syrah).

The Orliac family ages this Grande Cuvée for 12 months in oak barrels. The result is a wine of great depth, power, and intensity, yet balanced, with natural acidity being preserved thanks to this exceptional terroir. Aromas of blackberries, black cherries, and licorice blend with scrubland and black olives. An enchanting and succulent wine with a mouthfeel promising excellent aging potential.
