The Bollinger Cult Cuvée!
Champagne Magnum RD 2008 Extra Brut, Bollinger
The house of Bollinger is one of the legendary names in Champagne, and rightfully so. It was founded in 1829 through the partnership of Athanase de Villermont, a Champagne landowner, and a German wine merchant, Joseph Bollinger. In 1920, the house gained its prestige and brand image thanks to Jacques Bollinger, who notably created the famous Bollinger RD cuvée. Located in Ay, the Bollinger house is one of the few remaining independent and family-owned Champagne producers. All their cuvées are of exceptional quality, revealing great personality with each vintage.
The R.D. cuvée embodies the harmony of contrasting temporalities. The patiently awaited aging process blends with the immediacy of disgorgement, creating a unique experience. Today, the Bollinger R.D. 2008 reveals a vibrant wine of remarkable complexity, showcasing its full splendor.
In this exceptional vintage, the freshness and generosity of hazelnut play a key role. This perfectly controlled ingredient adds an additional dimension to this Champagne. Its delicate and captivating notes echo the splendor of this wine. Its finesse and depth make it a memorable experience.
