This Magnum of Fleurie La Madonne 2021 "La Vigne des Fous" from Marc Delienne comes from a mythical vineyard in Fleurie, on the hill of La Madonne overlooking the village. Marc Delienne's vineyard is called "La Vigne des Fous" by locals due to its exceptional slope (over 30 degrees of incline). This magnificent wine, vinified in the Beaujolais style (fermented in concrete vats and aged for 18 months in large oak barrels), exhibits deep notes of cherries, red berries, rose petals, spices, and dark chocolate. A concentrated and velvety juice with an impressive fruit volume, enveloping tannins, and perfectly integrated acidity. A great wine that will age beautifully and magically with time!
