This Pommard 1er Cru 2022 by Marthe Henry is the accomplished expression of a Pinot Noir from an exceptional terroir. This red wine of character, meticulously aged, perfectly embodies the alliance of strength and subtlety typical of the finest Pommard cuvées classified as Premier Cru.

The nose is deep and refined, marked by aromas of ripe black fruits (black cherry, plum), undergrowth, leather, and sweet spices. On the palate, the texture is ample and structured, with powerful yet already elegant tannins. The long and mineral finish hints at a great aging potential. This 2022 vintage, with a beautiful balance between concentration and freshness, already opens up with aeration but will gain complexity over time.
