This Jéroboam of Genepi from the Pères Chartreux is an ode to the tradition of this mythical eau-de-vie from the alpine meadows and mountains of the Alps! The institution of the Pères Chartreux, known to all, perpetuates the tradition of genepi, this aromatic plant of the Alps. These plants are harvested in August to macerate in a neutral alcohol, extracting all the aromatic essence. The Chartreux keep their production process a secret. The Chartreux genepi is incredibly fresh and pure, with notes of aromatic plants, tea, fresh herbs, and a hint of lemon. A magnificent beverage!
