Chartreuse Green Bottle 2025 – Les Pères Chartreux

The queen of liqueurs was born in 1605, when the Fathers Chartreux, very good herbalists, received a manuscript from the Duke of Estrées mentioning the formula for an Elixir of long life. They refined this recipe and developed the current version, known as the health elixir. Today, the liqueurs are still produced in the Isère department.

This 2025 vintage Green Chartreuse, freshly delivered by the Fathers Chartreux, is the iconic liqueur of the house, a worthy descendant of the original recipe. Its natural color comes from a subtle blend of 130 plants, herbs, flowers, and roots. All are macerated and distilled to extract the active principles. The nose is powerful, herbaceous, and peppery. On the palate, one discovers an intense freshness, with hints of mint, citrus, and pine sap.

For what occasion? To be enjoyed chilled (between 12 and 13 °C) as a digestif or in a cocktail.
