This Genepi from the Chartreuse Fathers is a tribute to the tradition of this mythical eau-de-vie from the alpine pastures and mountains of the Alps! The institution of the Chartreuse Fathers, well-known for perpetuating the tradition of genepi, an aromatic plant from the Alps. These plants are harvested in August to be macerated in a neutral alcohol, extracting all the aromatic essence. The Chartreuse Fathers keep their production process a secret. The Chartreuse genepi is incredibly fresh and pure, with notes of aromatic plants, tea, fresh herbs, and a hint of lemon. A magnificent beverage!
