Domaine Jolivet

The Jolivet estate is a recent domain, the result of the work of Bastien Jolivet, a young winemaker whose rise within the renowned estates of the northern Rhône Valley is spectacular. In 2014, he decided to create his own estate by taking over the family vineyards whose grapes were previously sold to the cooperative.

Bastien is based in Saint-Jean de Muzols in the Saint-Joseph appellation, on the right bank of the Rhône. He has 10 hectares of vineyards planted mostly with syrah, including old vines up to 75 years old. Each plot is harvested and vinified separately to bring out all its unique qualities. The final blend is then made at the bottle stage according to Bastien's choices, similar to the vinification process. The wines display a lot of character, power, and aromatic purity.
