Domaine Raquillet

Raquillet is a name associated with the village of Mercurey for generations, eleven to be precise. The winery really took off in 1990, especially when François Raquillet, son of Jean, took over. Passionate about wine and vineyard management, François equipped himself with a new winery and equipment worthy of the most prestigious Burgundy estates. From the first vintages, the quality of the wines was there, all at affordable prices! Today, the estate operates 14 hectares in Mercurey, with particularly beautiful old vines ideally located in premier crus: Vasées, Veleys... Since 2018, François's daughter, Jeanne, has joined the estate for a smooth transition. The wines display both deliciousness, fruit purity, and fine tannins. They are supple and accessible from a young age, all framed by a high-class oakiness that brings polish and length. It is worth noting that the estate has been striving to work in organic farming across the entire estate since 2019.
