This Mathusalem of Brut Champagne from the Barons de Rothschild is presented here in an exceptional format (6 Liters). The content is equally exceptional: a subtle blend of premier crus and grand crus from the Côte des Blancs, made with 100% Chardonnay. Reserve wines make up 40% of the blend, adding a great aromatic complexity to the whole. The aging on lees is 3 years, with a low dosage to better reveal the magic of Chardonnay, a complex combination of citrus, fresh almonds, dried fruits, and toasted bread. A beautiful representation of a high-quality Blanc de Blancs.
