This magnum of Crozes-Hermitage red "Buveur d'Argile" 2024 from the talented Julien Pilon embodies a generous, sunny, and intensely seductive Syrah. Undoubtedly the most "southern" cuvée of the estate, it charms with its silky texture and fruity brightness.

Aged for 18 months in 225L barrels, including 30% new oak, this cuvée accurately expresses the gentle power of the clay soils of the appellation. In the mouth, the texture is round, ample, and juicy, with a gourmet profile centered around ripe black fruits (blackberry, blackcurrant), accented by a beautiful spicy framework of white pepper, garrigue, and slightly woody notes.

A charming Crozes-Hermitage, with a strong character and exemplary drinkability, the perfect companion for a nice piece of meat, lamb tagine with prunes, or a Provencal daube.
