Mandrant Single Malt Whisky Magnum

This magnum of Mandrant single malt whisky, 46% ABV, from the Bughes distillery is a magnificent single malt produced in Haute-Loire. It is distilled in copper stills and then aged for 3 years in oak barrels that previously held red wines from Bordeaux. A beautiful originality with fruity notes, caramel, and a hint of peat. The finish is subtly smoky, with dry tobacco and cedar notes. A very fine craft whisky!
