This Génépi 40 (40% alcohol) from the Maison M distillery is an iconic digestif from Savoie, a region highlighted by the passion of Roxane and Philippe, the brilliant duo at the helm of this newly created micro-distillery. Their motto? Designing liqueurs and spirits by managing the entire production cycle, from the (wild) ingredient harvesting (100% Savoie!) to distillation and bottling.

The distillery showcases the Génépi, a wild plant harvested in the mountains. This digestif is very traditional in Savoie. Here, Maison M brings a very original twist to it, as it is crafted in a non-conventional way. The production process combines maceration and steam distillation. The result is a very digestible, refined, and elegant Génépi. The power of the Génépi and alcohol is perfectly tamed here, giving way to a delicious floral aroma.
