This Mathusalem (6 Liters!) of white Viré-Clessé Quintaine 2022 from Domaine Guillemot Michel is the Domain's Totem wine (this cuvée has existed since 1985!), the one that has made and continues to make the Domain's reputation among true wine lovers worldwide. The grapes are harvested at very good maturity and then vinified in concrete tanks, without any woody notes. The result is a floral Chardonnay, with notes of white flowers, hawthorn, and acacia. This wine is harmonious, oscillating between white flowers and fruits (vineyard peaches), all supported by a saline acidity and savory dry extracts. This 2022 vintage has a beautiful mineral and gourmet structure, with white fruits, citrus, and hawthorn. A very beautiful bottle that will delight everyone!
