This magnum of Chablis 2023 from the house of Joseph Drouhin comes from the Drouhin family, a wine trading family from Beaune, in the Chablis region, dating back to the 1970s, during a wine crisis. Robert Drouhin established an exceptional family vineyard in this northern Burgundy appellation. Every year, this Chablis perfectly reflects what Chablis enthusiasts are looking for: minerality, aromatic freshness, and the natural elegance of Chardonnay on these unique Kimmeridgian rock soils. This Chablis 2022 is a dry and fruity wine, easy to drink at any time! On the palate, very fresh notes of citrus (lemon, grapefruit), fern, fresh herbs, and coriander emerge. The whole experience concludes with a refreshing mineral and iodine note. The natural acidity of this northern climate pairs wonderfully with the sunny aspect of the 2023 vintage, bringing a delightful taste to the overall experience.
