Magnum red wine Savigny-lès-Beaune 2023 – Joseph Drouhin
This magnum of Savigny-lès-Beaune 2023 by Joseph Drouhin reveals all the finesse and elegance of this historic terroir located north of Beaune. Made from Pinot Noir grapes grown on soils mixing limestone scree, colored clays, and scree, this red wine embodies the delicacy and suppleness characteristic of the finest Savigny wines.
The nose opens with spicy notes, violet, and wild blackberries, typical of this valley cultivated since the Gallo-Roman era. On the palate, the wine seduces with its harmonious texture, finesse of tannins, and subtly indulgent aromatic expression. The 2023 vintage, marked by a warm and generous climate, brings a beautiful fruit maturity with flavors of ripe red and black berries, while preserving freshness and length.
This Savigny-lès-Beaune 2023 can be enjoyed now but will gain complexity after a few years in the cellar. It is best served at 16°C and pairs perfectly with roasted poultry, white meats, fine charcuterie, or delicate slow-cooked dishes.
Volume: 1.5 liters
