Magnum Champagne Bouzy Grand Cru Les Motelettes 2019 - Pierre Paillard
The Magnum Champagne Bouzy Grand Cru Les Motelettes 2019 - Pierre Paillard comes from the plot called "Les Mottelettes," an old 60-year-old Chardonnay vine located in the heart of the Grand Cru vineyard of Bouzy. Produced from mass selection, this wine expresses itself in a bold and generous style, offering notes of citrus and white fruits.
Aged in barrels and disgorged with cork for the secondary fermentation, this champagne benefited from a long 4.5-year rest on lees before disgorgement. The dosage is 3 gr/l, thus preserving the authenticity and purity of the aromas.
Chardonnay can thrive in Bouzy, producing wines of great personality. The old vines planted in 1961 in Les Mottelettes yield ample and lively wines, offering a unique expression compared to the Chardonnays of the Côte des Blancs. This champagne is characterized by remarkable complexity and liveliness, making each tasting an unforgettable experience.
Volume: 1.5 L
