Red Magnum Volnay "Sur-Roches" 2022 Domaine Dubuet Boillot

This 2022 Volnay "Sur Roches" from Domaine Dubuet-Boillot is a Volnay with a beautiful originality thanks to its original terroir, located on the heights of Volnay and aptly named "sur roches" (on rocks). Maxime Dubuet, a young and talented dynamic winemaker who recently took over the family vineyards in Volnay, decided to vinify this wine by preserving the whole grape (whole bunches). The result is an airy and delicate wine, with aromas of rose, orange zest, red berries, and spices. The tannins are fine and the underlying minerality makes our mouths water! A very nice wine (probably the most original of Maxime) for those who appreciate the finesse and elegance of Pinot Noir grown on rocky soil.
