This 2024 "Buveur d’Argile" red Crozes-Hermitage from the talented Julien Pilon embodies a generous, sunny, and intensely seductive Syrah. Undoubtedly the most "southern" cuvée of the estate, it charms with its silky texture and fruity brightness.

Aged for 18 months in 225L barrels, 30% of which are new oak, this cuvée accurately expresses the gentle power of the clay terroirs of the appellation. In the mouth, the texture is round, ample, and juicy, with a deliciously gourmand profile centered around ripe black fruits (blackberry, blackcurrant), enhanced by a beautiful spicy framework combining white pepper, scrubland notes, and slightly woody hints.

A charming Crozes-Hermitage with a strong character and exemplary drinkability, a perfect companion for a fine piece of meat, lamb tagine with prunes, or a Provençal daube.
