Magnum Fine Verveine

This magnum of verbena liqueur from the Bughes distillery is the emblem of Haute-Loire, a classic popularized in the 1850s, made from lemon verbena and other local aromatic plants. The highly esteemed Marcon family (3 Michelin stars) bequeathed their gastronomic verbena recipe to the Bughes distillery.

The base alcohol is double distilled in copper stills, then aged in oak barrels for 1 year, before being macerated with the famous lemon verbena and other plants grown by the distillery. This liqueur will surprise you with its aromatic purity, power, and subtle roundness on the finish, without any impression of sweetness.
