This magnum of Génépi Fragrance 42 (42% alcohol) from the Maison M distillery is an iconic digestif from Savoie, a region highlighted by the passion of Roxane and Philippe, the brilliant duo behind this newly created micro-distillery. Their motto? To design liqueurs and spirits by managing the entire production cycle, from the (wild) picking of ingredients (100% Savoie!) to distillation and bottling. The distillery showcases Génépi, a wild plant harvested in the mountains. This digestif is very traditional in Savoie.

Here, Maison M takes great care in the distillation process. The Génépi is distilled like a perfume, with Maison M keeping only the purest alcohol from the still. The aromatic purity is impressive (pepper, spices, white flowers, and menthol), a range of essential oils whose finesse and delicacy gracefully caress the palate. Magnificent.
