This magnum of dry Chenin Blanc Champtoisé 2023 from Domaine Sérol expresses all the freshness and precision of the grape variety on the terroirs of the Côte Roannaise. Coming from a high-density vineyard plot, this recent cuvée (first vintage 2020) is managed in certified Biodyvin biodynamics. The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully sorted before being vinified with care in a subtle balance between 500-liter barrels, amphorae, and concrete tanks, to reveal the purity of the Chenin.

On the nose, the wine seduces with its elegant aromas of white flowers and white-fleshed fruits. The palate is pulpy and generous, carried by a dense and precise structure, offering ripe and vibrant fruit. The finish reveals a delicate salinity that prolongs the tasting pleasure. An altitude Chenin, refined and elegant, destined for a bright future with aging potential of 4 to 5 years. An excellent discovery in a large format for fans of characterful white wines!
