Magnum Champagne Jacquesson Cuvée DIZY Terre Rouge 2015
The Magnum of Champagne Jacquesson Dizy Terre Rouge 2015 is a pure jewel, produced from a 1.33-hectare plot of pinot noir planted in 1993 on a deep, red limestone soil oriented to the east. This vineyard, pruned in cordon de Royat, benefits from a unique terroir that gives rise to a wine of great richness.
The year 2015 was marked by varied weather conditions: a mild and rainy winter and spring, followed by a period of drought and intense heat until mid-August. The rest of the season alternated between coolness and dry heat, allowing for a homogeneous harvest of perfectly ripe and healthy grapes. Harvested on September 15, 2015, these grapes produced ample, generous, and dynamic wines with a beautiful balance.
The vinification and aging are carried out in large wooden casks on lees, without filtration or fining, in order to preserve the wine's purity. This magnum from 2015 was disgorged in March 2023, without dosage, highlighting the complexity and generosity of this pinot noir. Only 509 magnums were produced, making this cuvée a true rarity, ideal for enthusiasts of authentic and powerful champagnes.
Volume: 1.5 liters
