Magnum blanc Chignin Bergeron Grand Zeph Domaine Adrien Berlioz 2024
A great white mountain wine, both delicate and generous
This magnum of Grand Zeph 2024 by Adrien Berlioz, an iconic winemaker from Savoie, expresses the purity of the Roussanne grape in its high-altitude terroir. Cultivated on steep 40% slopes with friable loamy soils, the Chignin vineyard delivers a powerful, elegant, and luminous cuvée.
This 2024 vintage presents a brilliant golden robe, unoaked, promising a rich and structured palate. It offers a basket of stone fruits—juicy apricot, vineyard peach, mirabelle plum—accented with touches of sweet spices and a delicately creamy texture subtly supported by a light sweetness. The balance is remarkable between volume, alpine freshness, and a tense minerality, typical of the finest Chignin-Bergeron wines.
A great white wine for gastronomy, to be enjoyed with aged Savoie cheeses, creamed poultry, or chanterelle mushroom risotto. It can be savored now for its generosity or aged for 8 to 10 years to further enhance its complexity.
Volume: 1.5 liters
