Magnum Bourgogne rouge Clos de la Perrière Monopole Clos de Moulin aux Moines 2022
The Magnum Bourgogne rouge Clos de la Perrière 2022, classified as a Monopole of Clos du Moulin aux Moines, is a rare and authentic wine, cultivated according to the principles of organic and biodynamic farming. Located in Pommard, the enclosed plot "Clos de la Perrière" benefits from an exceptional terroir, offering an elegant, concentrated, and lively Pinot Noir in the purest Burgundian tradition.
Monopole, unique terroir, and natural vinification
This confidential enclosure belongs entirely to the estate. It rests on clay-limestone soils rich in iron oxide, which bring depth and structure to the wine. Vineyard work is manual and respectful of the living environment. The winemaking process, with minimal intervention, highlights the precision of the grapes, while the well-balanced aging in barrels reveals a pure and digestible wine, without masking the expression of the terroir.
Tasting notes: intensity, precision, and finesse
In the glass, the wine seduces with its deep ruby color. The nose is complex, combining red fruits (cherry, wild strawberry), sweet spices, floral, and mineral notes. On the palate, the balance is remarkable: soft tannins, silky texture, natural freshness, and a long, refined, and slightly saline finish.
Food pairings & serving temperature
This magnum will gracefully accompany roasted white meats, poultry with mushrooms, stuffed pigeon, or Burgundian cheeses. Serve between 15 and 17°C, with a slight aeration to reveal its full complexity.
Aging potential
This Clos de la Perrière 2022, already accessible, can elegantly evolve for 8 to 12 years, with the magnum format ensuring optimal aging.
