This bottle of Drappier Carte d'Or Extra Brut Champagne is the iconic cuvée of a family estate established in Urville since 1808, in the heart of the Côte des Bar. A true signature of the house, it embodies all of Drappier's expertise around Pinot Noir, the dominant grape variety representing 80% of the blend. Coming from Kimmeridgian Jurassic limestone soils and gravity-fed vinified without filtration or coloration, this almost Blanc de Noirs cuvée reveals a remarkable aromatic richness. The nose opens with elegant stone fruits, white peach, and a characteristic spicy touch, before giving way to a powerful, vinous, and complex palate, with the unique olfactory signature of quince jelly that has made the Carte d'Or legendary. With very low sulfites and precisely dosed at only 5g/l, it impresses with its purity and aromatic sincerity.
