Magnum of white wine Bouzeron from Domaine de Suremain 2024

Presented in magnum format (1.5 L), this wine showcases the Bouzeron appellation, unique in Burgundy as it is exclusively dedicated to the Aligoté grape variety. Domaine de Suremain expresses all the typical characteristics of this terroir in the Côte Chalonnaise, known for its freshness and liveliness.

Developed from Aligoté, this Bouzeron reveals the elegance of a grape variety that was once discreet but is now celebrated for its finesse and mineral character.

The wine has a bright pale gold color. The nose opens with delicate aromas of white flowers, acacia, hazelnut, and fresh citrus. On the palate, the attack is lively and tense, supported by a beautiful minerality. The balance between freshness and flavor gives this wine great drinkability, perfect for social occasions.

Served between 9°C and 11°C, this magnum of Bouzeron pairs wonderfully with aperitifs, shellfish, delicate fish, as well as Burgundian specialties such as cheese puffs (gougères) or parsley ham. It also pairs very well with fresh goat cheese or aged Comté.

In the 2024 vintage, this wine can be enjoyed young for its freshness and brightness. However, the magnum format gives it a good aging potential of 3 to 6 years, allowing it to develop more complex notes and additional depth.
