Magnum Riesling Cuvée Colette

This magnum of Riesling Cuvée Colette 2020 from Domaine Weinbach pays tribute to Colette Faller, a leading figure at the Domaine. The Riesling vines for this cuvée are located at the foot of the Schlossberg hill (a classified Grand Cru in Alsace), on a predominantly sandy soil. The nose reveals a rounded, spicy, and elegant profile, with hints of fresh fruit and a touch of minerality. The palate is intense, concentrated, and powerful, the result of Riesling grapes harvested at perfect maturity. It offers a great concentration of citrus fruits, apples, honey, and melon. A spicy, petrol note reminds us of the origins of this high-class wine. This 2020 Riesling Cuvée Colette from the legendary Domaine Weinbach is a superb introduction to the domain's style.
