Armand Heitz

Armand Heitz, a renowned winemaker from Chassagne-Montrachet, has been embracing a vision of diversified farming and expanding his activities through organic agriculture (market gardening, livestock, cereals…) in recent years.

In line with this, the Armand Heitz beers are the result of a collaboration between a winemaker and a brewer who share the same rural values: working with nature, supporting local development, and transparency. Leveraging his winemaking activity, Armand Heitz enhances the most prestigious vintages and, in line with his sustainable development approach, selects the best barrels for a second life, namely to house the estate's beers.

The aging process of the beers, using these high-quality barrels, brings a great complexity and aromatic originality to these beers. They acquire a particular patina and smoothness, which is also enhanced by the care taken in selecting cereals, all sourced from Burgundy and the surrounding areas of the Côte de Beaune.
