This 1er cru is ideally located on the east side of Mercurey, on clayey soils. This 2019 Sazenay is a wine with a very fine structure, with firm and powerful tannins that blend perfectly with a persistent and concentrated fruit profile, featuring notes of blackberry, bramble wood, blackcurrant, and white pepper. The oak influence is subtle and the palate is concentrated. A serious and substantial wine that, in this magnum format, will age beautifully over 10 years.
