This magnum (150 cls) of Gamay dark beer Sans Ma Brune 9.7% from Brasserie Two Dudes is a porter-style beer (dark) aged for 12 months in Gamay oak barrels (Cuvee 910, Pierre Bleue, Teinturier).

It's a beer characterized by coffee and licorice aromas at first sip, followed by the woody, roasted touch of the oak barrel, as well as black fruits and the indulgence of the Gamay grape. It's a beer with a very beautiful aromatic complexity that would pair well with a dish centered around pigeon!

The oak barrels come from Domaine des Vignes du Maynes – Julien Guillot in Cruzille (71), an exciting winemaker from Maconnais. Best served at cellar temperature in red wine glasses.
