This beer "Les Fûts de Sophie" Triple BA 8.5% from Brasserie Two Dudes Brewery is a Triple beer (brewed in the German style) aged for 11 months in Burgundy marc barrels from Sophie Guillemot, of the Guillemot-Michel estate in Quintaine (71). The barrel aging process imparts aromas of cooked pear and dried grapes with a vinous finish. Best enjoyed at cellar temperature in red wine glasses.
