Dark Beer Gamay without my Brunette

This Gamay beer without my brunette 9.7% from Two Dudes Brewery is a porter-style beer aged for 12 months in Gamay oak barrels (cuve?e 910, Pierre Bleue, Teinturier).

It is a beer characterized by coffee and licorice aromas at first sip, followed by the woody, roasted touch of the oak barrel, as well as the black fruits and gourmet notes of the Gamay grape. It is a beer of a very beautiful aromatic complexity that would complement, for example, a dish centered around pigeon!

The oak barrels come from Domaine des Vignes du Maynes – Julien Guillot in Cruzille (71), an exciting winemaker from Mâconnais. Best served at cellar temperature in red wine glasses.
