This magnum of white wine from Allobroges Jacquère "Genesis" 2021 from the Domaine de l'Aitonnement is a 100% Jacquère wine, a worthy representative of its terroir of origin, Savoie and in particular Aiton, a historic place for local viticulture. Since 2016, Maxime Dancoine has been carrying out remarkable work here, in organic and biodynamic farming, to give impetus to this appellation. This Genesis cuvée comes from 80-year-old Jacquère vines on extreme slopes (70%). In the winery, Maxime follows a "natural wine" approach, with little sulfur, very little manipulation, no additives, and aging in tanks without influencing the aromatic profile. The result? A wine that exudes joy, precise and mineral, with lemony and chalky notes of great energy. A success!
